Our Family "From Then Until Now"

.

This is the family album of Monica and John from 1974 until now.

The visual record that you are about to see was taken entirely by our family members. In the early years, by Monica and John (Mom and Dad) then later our children and their spouses began to contribute.

We hope you enjoy the visual journey one family embarked on many years ago.

It was not until we decided to make this slide show we realized how many great images we had taken and forgot about.
.
The slide show has about 175 photographs out of the thousands and thousand we have taken. I know every family goes through the same dilemma when trying to make sense of their family history.
.
A flood of emotions over took us as we went down this path.
.
It was one of the hardest things we have aver done but also one of the most rewarding. Every family needs to do it. It will remind you how precious and short life really is.
.
Enjoy the photographs of our family. I know we enjoyed taking them!!

Amber and Jason's Wedding

Since we are a family of wedding photographers this day was a very interesting one for us with one of our own getting married.

Jason is our youngest of three son's. He married a wonderful girl by the name of Amber on March 3rd, 2005.

It was a beautiful warm (but not hot!) spring day at Ashley Manor in Chandler, Arizona. The wedding took place on a Thursday because we have allot of friends in the wedding business and for them to be able to participate it had to take place on a off, off day.

Scott and I (John -"the grooms dad") did most of the photography that day although others pitched in too. This was our second wedding in the family with our son Erik marrying a couple of years before.

A couple of family members had approached me a couple weeks before the wedding and told me that it was probably not a good idea for me to shoot my son's wedding because " being the groom's dad, I would have many duties to perform that day and it would be a very emotional for me "

Did I listen..........Nooooo.

I told them "But this is what I do."

I knew I was in trouble when, before the wedding ceremony, I was starting to take a photograph of our son and my wife. My wife, who had been crying for two days prior, began to cry. Which caused my son to cry. Which made ME to tear up. It was very hard to focus the camera with those tears in my eyes! Thank God for auto-focus.

What a wonderful, fun day for Monica and I both! We would like to share this day with you in a slide show with music that we made. Click here: Amber and Jason's Wedding
